Jitesh Ladwa

CEO and Co-founding Partner

Mr. Ladwa is a Tanzanian entrepreneur and businessman with close to 20 years of hands-on investment and operational experience from 15 countries across Africa with a particular focus on liberalizing economies and post-conflict countries in the EAC and SADC regions.

Mr. Ladwa’s businesses span several sectors including agribusiness, water and sanitation, transport and logistics, infrastructure, construction, IT and communication, financial services, hospitality and tourism.  As managing director for a wide range of companies within the Ladwa Group, he has developed extensive hands-on operational experience and expertise in identifying business opportunities, raising capital, structuring investments and managing projects from inception to developing and growing these companies once established. Mr. Ladwa is the financial director of all of his Group’s companies and has a successful track record of raising funds for African business.

As part of a family business, originating from Tanzania, Mr. Ladwa has in-depth understanding of family owned businesses in the region and understands the dynamics and challenges of operating such businesses in newly liberalizing and post-conflict African countries. He also brings with him unique access and insights to business networks across the continent and globally.

 Mr. Ladwa holds a BA in History and a BSC in Economics from Bard College, New York.
